feelings of guilt

by confused and lost in

as some of you are aware i am in the early stages of doubting the wts as the only channel of truth.however i am assailed by feelings of guilt.am i being seduced by the words of disgruntled witnesses or ex-witnesses or am i truly doubting !

!maybe some of you felt this way in the early stages of your "defection" from the wts.sometimes i feel as though i am rejecting god and his organization but other times i feel so strongly that the wts has misled me and is acting to control my "loyalty" by vieled threats of destruction at armageddon.you see prior to becoming a jw i had no religious affiliations.i knew nothing about the bible or god.so for 20 yrs i have only known watchtower teachings and un-learning 20yrs of this is making me so indesicive.am i doing the right thing or not ?

my only solace is prayer.i have prayed to god to show me in some way what the truth really is.i must admit that these prayers have been the most heartfelt i have ever said.have others felt this way and if so how did they deal with it ?i would truly appreciate some feedback.

Don't feel bad it took me 52 years to figure it out!

Here a simple test for you. Go back to your KM stand at the back for a few minutes and go up and down the rows there, look at everyone who is sitting there...and ask yourself this question " Is this person look like a HAPPY person?"......If you look at their faces you will see the answer......and then ask the most important question.....are you a happy person seating there?......Of course they will tell you that your happiness is not important...

After all they are NOT worshiping a happy God anyway ......They are worshipping a mad "pissed off" God who they think will be killing 999 people out of 1,000....soon.

"Yes really.....but if you join US, you will get to live, because he likes us better then everyone else for some odd reason....Oh by the way...God will kill your friends and family too unless they join up also!...So what do you think?.....Do you want to come join us in worshipping the "Happy god Jehovah?"

so many nut cases are JW's

i have seen so many jw's that are fruit loops, i'm not meaning clinical depression or mental illness, many are just balmy, they seem to be off tap.

i would estimate that 1 in 4 are off their head.

disruptive behaviour and trouble makers, gossipers and out right rude, so many seem to have problems out of the normal, many i find are backward, maybe that is the one way street of indoctinization.. what experiences have any had..

the only meetings i'm going to now are the "fundamentalist anonymous" meetings.

it's a 12 step program to get you out of the churches that say "are way or the highway" .......lol....o.k.

Yes, we all love a good story don't we....After writing my Bethel stories I got into a writing jag and wrote a screen play. It isn't about Bethel but reincartation my true love....It's name is "Take the Long Way Home."

i feel bad for many of them.

i don't like the religion because it is a cult.

Of course I don't hate them......because if I did.....I would be hating myself....because I WAS A NAZIS CARD CARRYING JW myself........So I look at them....as being just a young version of ME.

I since I love me....I love them....make sence?

We are here asking you and your neighbors what they think about "living only for today?"...don't wait for and answer.

That is what we Jehovah's Witness believe in....LIFE FOR TODAY....We hate thinking about the future...and living in a paradice with out all of our dead love ones and friends because they were too stupid to believe us.

And we hate thinking about the past and all the mistakes our organazition have made and it calling it new light. and that SOMEHOW God got confuessed...and changed his mine about what to believe.

JK....It makes sence!

They hand you a book after your baptized. In the book there are 3 rules 1.We are always right. 2 We are always right. If you don't understand the rules there is always rule 3 which is "Refer back to rules 1& 2."
